A big thank you to all the volunteers who did such a great job of organising the games for our Centenary Party yesterday, and to all staff and students who helped out and joined in. It was a wonderful day!

We had an amazing party yesterday to celebrate 100 years since the Dunn Institute (now the Hopkins Building) was opened on 9 May 1924. The sun shone in the Sanger Garden and there was fun, games and ice cream for all!

A very large poster of our alumnus Frederick Sanger being put up to greet everyone as they enter our Sanger Building. We've also included posters of Marjory Stephenson and Frederick Hopkins to mark our centenary.

Our foyers got a bit of a makeover for our Centenary this week. Many thanks to our maintenance team for preparing everything so well, and to our contractors Steel Creative Network and designers Surface Impression.
