This is part of a vital 4km habitat that Network Rail East Coast plan to destroy (21ft+) from June in nesting season.
This green corridor=habitat for birds, bats & owls.
It breaks their own nature strategy that states no biodiversity loss in 2024

The cuckoo is a summer visitor that arrives in the UK in late March or April.

They are famously a 'brood parasite', meaning that they lay their eggs in the nests of other birds, fooling other species to raise their young.

Have you heard any calling cuckoos this spring? πŸ‘‚

Wellingborough tree group SAVE OUR TREES win at high court! They proved the council acting unlawfully when trying to remove a historic avenue of lime trees! This is a fantastic precedent for tree campaigners everywhere. STRAWPlymouth Bristol Tree Forum πŸƒπŸ’šπŸƒ Paul Powlesland Paul Wood 🌳

Full Council off to a hot start with the proposal for the new Lord Mayor by Jos Clark ...something about being qualified to stand?...seemed to be controversial for some reason.

Yesterday Tudor Evans waved through the completely inadequate Terms of Reference for the review into the Armada Way felling.

Incredibly there were zero concerns raised by his colleagues despite it being well and truly not fit for purpose or fair.

Useful, if late, information about Full Council 21 May:
'There is no speaking to statements at the AGM, but of course you are welcome to attend. I have spoken to the Lord Mayor who has agreed to extend the deadline on statements until Monday when the reports will be published.'
