I see my local Rhug Estate have launched a new charitable trust, part of the aim is to connect people with nature. Here's the Wynnstay hunt, unloading at the Rhug earlier this year. Hoping to connect with nature.

Loads of hunts went out & bought some sort of raptor post Hunting Act so they could “flush coverts” with a full pack. Use of raptors declined after the Wright 2009 case & then (I believe) dropped to 1 hunt post the successful FitzWilliam case.

The Grove and Rufford was one of the most violent hunts in the country at the time of the Hunting Act. It’s good to see Nottinghamshire Police nipping this resurgence in criminality in the bud. nottinghampost.com/news/local-new…

I spent last weekend in Whitby. Driving across the moors to my destination was incredibly depressing: lots of burnt out land and not a single bird to be seen - either going or returning.

“I am here to defend the right of people to commit criminal acts (for 2 decades).” He does realise that the public objective of the BHSA is to promote “riding to hounds” not illegal fox hunting?! How does someone that obtuse get to senior government?

On Saturday we teamed up with sabs from lots of other groups to oppose the closing meet of the Devon and Somerset Staghounds at Cussacombe Gate on Exmoor. (1/21)

Birds of prey get shot so frequently in Yorkshire that reports of new incidents have to qualify that they aren’t the same incidents that happened the previous week. The absolute shame of it 😧.

Surprise surprise! It's been reported that Ben Wallace, former secretary of defence, is joining the BHSA board. (The British Hound Sports Association) - a pro hunting lobby group.

Wallace oversaw the MOD when hunts were given licences to use its land.

The work of one of our investigators also features heavily in this in this informative piece - as the only two successful cubbing convictions in the UK (to date), which both involved a hunt that packed up last year.

It’s happening again. Stag currently being hunted by the Quantock Staghounds near Alfoxton, north west of Holford.

The fantastic North Dorset Hunt Saboteurs and Mendip Hunt Sabs are there doing all they can to delay the hunt and save the hunted stag.

It was the last meet of the season on Saturday for the Devon & Somerset Staghounds with 3 WG investigators present. Hunt Saboteurs Association saved 2 stags but despite their best efforts a 3rd was chased to exhaustion & shot. Blatant cruelty & a national embarrassment.
