It’s happening again. Stag currently being hunted by the Quantock Staghounds near Alfoxton, north west of Holford.
The fantastic North Dorset Hunt Saboteurs and Mendip Hunt Sabs are there doing all they can to delay the hunt and save the hunted stag.

It was the last meet of the season on Saturday for the Devon & Somerset Staghounds with 3 WG investigators present. Hunt Saboteurs Association saved 2 stags but despite their best efforts a 3rd was chased to exhaustion & shot. Blatant cruelty & a national embarrassment.
Dead? Quantock Staghounds chased this beautiful boy today and sabs heard a gunshot and cheering in National Trust land Staple Plantation/Vinny Combe at the end of the day. No body was seen though and they all drifted away. QSH have previous for faking kills... 🤞With Wildlife Guardian
