If the Governor wants to make his case to pull VA out of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), he must do so through legislation and in front of the General Assembly. RGGI is law in Virginia, and no governor has authority to change state law through unilateral action.

Recently, the House of Representatives voted to pass the Fiscal Responsibility Act, which includes policies that fast-tracks fossil fuel projects like the Mountain Valley Pipeline (MVP). M4BL is demanding Congress reject this deal and pass a clean debt ceiling! 1/3

Seems to me it should be a bigger scandal that Chuck Schumer’s second largest political donor is NextEra Energy, the company behind the Mountain Valley Pipeline that *randomly* popped up in the debt ceiling deal.
