On a cheerful note, Len Ganley gave me a coin for refereeing in 1992. He said “use this for your whole career and remember your uncle Len gave it to you”. It was a Churchill half crown. Used it for 2 weeks then realised, Churchill on one side, Queen on the other. Double headed!

OMG, My sister just sent me this. I was 16 there. On the left is my mentor and refereeing examiner Gus Lillygreen and on the right is the guv’nor, John Williams. Prestatyn 1987. 😎

Been a bit quiet on here for various reasons, mostly due to the faceless negativity and uninformed, distressing insults that often rule this platform. My genuine thanks however for all the kind, good wishes received from the real people about my retirement from refereeing. ❤️
