Congratulations to the brand new Dr. Morris! Sarah Morris passed her dissertation defense with distinction this morning, and will soon leave us for an RPP position at Rice University. We are so proud of this incredible researcher 🥳🤓🎉

Andrew Camp has been my ride and die in the program since day one. I am so happy to celebrate this newly-minted doctor and I am looking forward to seeing all the great things he will do in the future! Love you brother!!!

I also want to thank the great friends and colleagues I've made over the past few years. Especially Rian Djita and Kate Barnes. Thanks for being the best friends and office mates I could ever hope for.

The department invested so much in supporting me and Gema was generous with her time, mentorship, and patience in a way I hope to emulate someday.

Second, I want to extend a huge thank you to Dept. of Ed. Reform and especially to Dr. Gema Zamarro (she/her). Four years ago, in the midst of a pandemic, you decided to take a risk on me and admit me to the program.

I can't thank my family enough for always encouraging me to be curious and supporting me no matter what. I've learned so much from each of you and know that I wouldn't be the person I am today without y'all.
