This concludes the rest of the group trip visits KTH Royal Institute of Technology Stockholm University and Chalmers Uni of Tech. A very productive week for establishing collaborations with Sweden!
And more networking with Swedish researchers this time Linköpings universitet ! Thank you Rob Hunter for representing the group!
Oh how nice this is! I wish I could be there but 3 emerging talented ladies are better than one emerged , overrated ( and overbook) one! I hope you all equally enjoyed the encounter and thank you Chalmers Physics for hosting! I am sure was great fun!
Come and be part of the conversation - the workshop is kindly sponsored by RSC Solid State Chemistry Group
The best part - this is a free event! But you must register at the eventbright site linked though our webpage (link in top post). Places are limited so don't delay.
Thanks Jiayin Yuan for organising a research exchange symposium between my group and the MMK Stockholm University. Hoping for new ideas and collaborations to emerge within WISE Materials . Stockholm is beautiful even in bad weather! Had a stroll in my favourite neighbourhood!
I had an amazing time Universitetet i Oslo with Petra Agota Szilagyi and Stockholm University with Jiayin Yuan and a lot of Magda Titirici members! Thank you for the opportunity to present our work and the amazing hospitality! Thank you WISE Materials also for facilitating collaboration with Sweden!
Had an amazing time Faraday Institution #ECR2024 . It was fun to reflect on my career so far UNIBUC Universität Rostock Universität Mainz TU Dortmund Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces QMUL School of Engineering and Materials Science and current Imperial ChemEng and hang out with my research group, friends and collaborators. Thank you for inviting me!
Congratulations to Silvia Favero for the 2023 Townend Prize for outstanding original research in energy engineering Imperial ChemEng and Angus Pedersen for the 2023 John Kilner Prize for excellence in research in materials for application in energy conversion Imperial Materials!
Roadmap on Multivalent Batteries doi.org/10.1088/2515-7… via JPhys Energy is online! Amazing contributions from outstanding scientists!. Many thanks to M.Rosa Palacin for embarking on this initiative with me and to the wonderful Myla for her phenomenal support!
📣 Postdoc position available in our group on automation & high throughput experimental development of advanced materials! 🥼🔬
Opportunity to join a project led by Magda Titirici, involving 3 universities & access to ATLAS !

Is always amazing to meet amazing friends who will always be a big part of your life even if further away now. Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces reunion again in beautiful Barcelona via #MATSUS Jelena Popović-Neuber Tim Fellinger Maria Enterria Gonzales, Munish Chanana, Pedro Blecua
What an amazing fun time packed with great talks by great battery scientists at #MATSUS24 in #GENBATT symposium. Had an amazing time! Many thanks to my co- organisers ECPU_IMDEAEnergy and CristinaPozo-Gonzalo for putting together such a fantastic programme!
Congratulations Helen Tyrrell for winning a poster price #MATSUS24 and to Mengnan Wang and Zhenyu Guo for giving two great talks in #GENBATT symposium!
It was a pleasure to be the external examiner for the PhD Viva of my former tutee and project student from my times at QMUL School of Engineering and Materials Science -Sushila Marlow. She did a fantastic job at presenting her PhD research and hard work at UCL Chemical Engineering supervised by Feng Ryan Wang Well done Sushila!
