Why should compost manure in the compost pits be covered?
*Covering compost manure protects it from direct sunshine which causes evaporation of nutrients hence loss of nutrients. Also, it speeds up the decomposition rate of the compost.

COMPOST MANURE MAKING:
Gather organic materials like kitchen scraps & yard waste into the 1st pit.
Turn them into the 2nd pit after 4 weeks and then to the 3rd pit after 3 weeks.
#NOTE : Manure is ready for use after 3 weeks in 3rd pit.
