I met a lovely lad from Manchester going for his first solo wildcamp on Kinder Scout last night.

He'd just been to Go Outdoors to buy his tent and he looked so excited and grateful to be here.

I love encounters like that! It was a lovely evening with all the green 💚

A good Friday walking from Hope to Kinder Low via Win Hill gave way to a sublime Saturday morning above the Edale valley.
