1973 Yamaha TX500. This was the first road bike to combine double overhead camshafts and four valves per cylinder on a parallel-twin. It was docile and civilised to ride.

After doing a little work outside today, I decided to do a little #pota hunting with the #tx500 before going back in. Set up a plow point shelter for some protection from the wind. #hamradio
Speed #POTA this morning in Ashdown Forest before heading home for BH DIY. Using a small low footprint 20m EFHW with small pole (no guys) + Brushed cobwebs off the tx500 for 10w from the comfort of my car. Why do I like #SOTA again 🤔 #CW
