The Egyptian Alexandria shipyard is currently working on construction of seven ASD tugboats, including one tug for the Egyptian Navy with a bollard pull ranging between 85 to 90 tons.

Norwegian Kongsberg Maritime has signed an agreement to provide its US Series of azimuth thrusters to the Egyptian Alexandria Shipyard (ASY) for six new Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD) tugboats, each with 85 tonnes of bollard pull.
