Congratulations Y13 Student Joe Peel, who boxes for Halliwell ABC in Bolton, Joe won the Northwest region under 63kg, Youth Championships beating his opponent via unanimous decision. Joe now progresses to the pre quarters this weekend. 👏👏🥊

Congratulations to Y12 student Sid Williams, who competed in Athens, Greece over the weekend as part of the world championships. Sid came away with 4 Golds & 2 Silvers, picking up more Golds than any other competitor over the weekend.🥇🥇🥇🥇

Y12 student Ania Kot won via unanimous decision at the weekend representing Yorkshire in an all girls select competition. 👏👏👏

Previous student Mikey Evans, Won via 3rd round stoppage last night in the NABGCS regional semi final, and due to pull out becomes regional champ and moves to the national finals. 👏👏👏

3 of Y12 girls who entered the England Boxing Winter Women’s Box Cup. 🏆
India Bainbridge lost in the final after a hard fought bout. 🥈
Ellie Traynor reached the final, however due to injury had to pull out. 🥈
Finally Faye McCormick won both her semi and final.🥇

Y12 student Terrance Brown, Boxing for Marybone ABC (Derry Mathews club) who won via split decision last night in the regional semi finals of the NABGCS and boxes tonight in the regional final 👏👏👏

A well known face from the past, Marcel Braithwaite a former student in 2011/13 popped in this morning to share his story as a Boxer from amateur to professional, The Highs & Lows in the sport with the life lessons it has taught him. #boxer #education #thejoegallagheracademy 🥊

Congrats to Y13 Student Angus Broda’s recent success at the Ed Bilby Box Cup. 
Angus boxed 3 times over 3 days in 67kg category to win gold. Angus showed superior boxing managing his bouts at range , it was his first competition at senior level where he fought without a headguard
