So I went back to the wood store today to buy that piece of maple that I left behind that was quartersawn and beautiful. Ran into a kid who was going to make a cabinet type jewelry box. I pointed him to that piece once the word quartersawn left my mouth he snapped it up.

So it turns out moderate exercise is great for my mental health and gallbladder (!?) But I am out of shape and hand planing four 2x2x24' quartersawn hard maple spindles into four 1x2(taper) x 1x2(taper)x 24. Is a whole lot and I am out of shape and apparently ill? Rude
