We had a trip out to Lytham last week with the Blackburn schemes Places for People . We went to Lowther Gardens, where we had lunch and then had a walk through the park. And then into town to do a bit off shopping, everyone enjoyed their time looking through all the charity shops.
Good deed done. Helped our neighbour clear her garden. Took a whole day. Was nice to chat with her and today our new fence goes up :) #Neighbours Places for People
A great constituency Friday last week!💫
I met with Headteachers from Ware and Hertford and discussed issues such as SEND
Then I visited Catherine Smith and discussed sustainability, food security and rural crime
Finally, I met with the team from Places for People in Gilston
Our team enjoyed a lovely afternoon at Clayton Brook Church Hall with Places for People residents who are currently having improvement works carried out.
We love events like this where we can chat about the works, and put their minds at rest about going through the process.
We had a Chorley community event on Wednesday at Harewood a Places for People scheme- we had a Quiz and Bingo all with prizes. Everybody really enjoyed the afternoon. We had fourteen there. Really great afternoon.
Great energy and efforts at the 'Dance & Fun Gymnastics'. Making it all free and accessible for the community.

We held a Quiz and games afternoon at Clifton House, a Preston scheme Places for People scheme, where we all had an enjoyable time, one lady said it was a nice way to spend a couple of hours.We had a quiz , Bingo, and a spot the difference, with prizes. +fresh cream scones, lovely
We had a lovely day out at Bury last week where we went to a garden centre for lunch, it was lovely food. We went with two schemes from Ramsbotham and Bury Places for People schemes, after wards we had a look round the farm shop. Lovely day.
We went to the Mutton and Shoulder Pub in Holcomb village, Ramsbottom , with people from Ashton Lodge and Hamilton house, Places for People scheme for a Pub lunch, we all had a great time. It was nice to meet outside and hear all about their families. Great afternoon.
We went to Oswaldtwistle mills last week with our Chorley scheme a Places for People scheme. We went shopping and we all bought something. We all had lunch together, what a Lovely day it was. Great.
