After surgery, abdomen with wound vac & continuous irrigation with Dianeal solution.
Provided a form of #PeritonealDialysis while patient recovered from oliguric kidney injury. Kidneys have now recovered 😎

I inserted a #PeritonealDialysis catheter today, after 4 years. I was stoked of course. But when I saw tears of joy in the eyes of my dear patient*, I couldn’t help but feeling guilty that we don’t do enough of this. People on dialysis deserve to be treated in their own homes.

Yesterday, our fellows underwent CAPD Training Demo-Return Demo with our partner, Baxter International! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
