It’s been a LONG and scary 2+ weeks but hallelujah for a beautiful, healthy scab. This recovery was tough! She’s still in her cone to protect scab. #MyGirlGemma
Gemma was an escape artist while Mom was busy. Licked wound; now it’s red and a little bloody. Doesn’t look infected, looks clean. It’s SO HARD helping animals recover from surgery. My 1st time. Got to chase her too 2 take off cone 4 dinner. She was hand fed 2nite.🤣 #MyGirlGemma
So far this morning, I have taken all of the blankets off our beds. I dumped the basket, and spread my toys all over the floor. For the finale, I knocked down Mom’s tea, which went everywhere and I broke her favorite mug since my cone is a bulldozer. #mygirlgemma
