Not a single obstacle on this road and they still end up forming traffic jams. Proof that congestion is caused by cars themselves – not crossings, not bikes, not too few lanes and not LTNs. Case closed.

On April 27, 1992, Betty Boothroyd became the first woman to be elected Speaker of the House of Commons. Speaking of women, today also marks 412 days since Cllr Sarah Warren said she wanted a healthy debate on LTNs and how we get around in Bath. Still no sign of that debate.

Road traffic noise map of London. So, if you were standing for election on Thursday, what would be the commonsense priority: more LTNs that move yet more traffic onto the busiest roads or measures to cut noise on those busy roads? It should be a no-brainer noisemap.ltd.uk/projects/londo…

Leading anti-Low Traffic Neighbourhood campaigner Howard Cox wanted to turn the London Mayoral election into a referendum on ULEZ and Sadiq Khan’s support for LTNs and cycle lanes.

Well, now we have the results.

'Wales will drop blanket 20mph limits on its roads'

Net Zero policies underpin blanket 20mph zones, ULEZ '15 Minute Cities' & LTNs

The intent of a tiny minority is to make driving so painful & so expensive, ordinary members of the public are forced out of it

In recent years, the amount of airtime that the BBC has dedicated to creating the impression of widespread opposition to ULEZ, LTNs, and cycle lanes in London when it’s basically a handful of anonymous Twitter accounts and some disgruntled taxi drivers is, frankly, a disgrace.
