Another stunner on Loch Nevis today, some guests and volunteers hiking Stoul - Tarbet and some staying aboard for a full tour of the Loch, and fishing, before exploring Tarbet and Loch Morar on foot. Beautiful day.
One day this weather will break, but for now we'll make the most of it. Bob getting guests aboard on a tide too low to use the pier, and views from a millpond Sound of Sleat.
June has some good availability (lovely long days), July & August have limited availability (best chance for whales/dolphins/birds) and September is filling up (schools back and a beautiful drift toward Autumn). 2025 is already booking up, so be quick!
Out next #Munro Bagging Week starts 8 June. There's only a couple of spaces left, so be quick! Photos are from our inaugural trip last week, a complete success with all guests summitting the 6 planned hills. It's a great week, don't miss out. Link in bio to website for booking.
For home baking fans you canny beat a scone and this week the cheese scones have been flying out the door. My new favourite is the fruit and nut rocky road recipe from the brilliant Mountain Cafe in Aviemore ❤️
A glorious lunch at Gavin Maxwell's 'Canusfearna', Sandaig Islands. Mussels fresh from the beach, divers (birds) appearing with fish in their beaks, a flypast from four Eurofighter Typhoons and great company. Fancy a holiday with us? (Volunteer Pat eating the mussel btw)
