Dr. April Montoya shared an amazing hands on Chemistry Lab lesson today with five lucky Science Night - Sci Lab Experience winners - they discovered how fibers are spun like cotton candy and worked through the extrusion process using playdoh. What fun!🤩!

Let's clear up a common misconception: Disc extrusion is not the same as a disc bulge! 🚫

Understanding this difference is key to proper diagnosis and treatment💡

❗️In the absence of neurological deficit or uncontrollable pain most disc herniations do NOT need surgery❗️

1 year ago this crossfitter was advised to have surgery for her L5/S1 disc extrusion. She declined and opted for rehab instead.

12 months later she is pain free,

Ever heard of disc extrusion? It's not your typical disc issue – it's a bit more intense.

Unlike bulges or herniations, extrusion happens when the inner disc material squeezes out through a tear in the outer layer.

LuigiBOmalley2 'Is she real?' ..?? It's real that Sophia Hutchins transitioned from Scott Hutchins. The resulting product looks like an extrusion from an acrylic caulking gun. Button nose augmentation and filled duck lip instructions are now offered as a kit from Crayola's 'Silly Putty'.

Tugback
False tugback is when master cone goes to working length but is binding coronally not apically.
📍the apical area is not filled with gutta percha -> rely on sealer to fill in the remaining space -> bacterial leakage.
in warm vertical condensation: risk of over-extrusion

wtf.... this printer has no thermal extrusion protection?
For some strange reason, the temp dropped to 30c mid print (set to 30c...?!) and it just kept extruding?!!!

Pro tip: planters & I want a weighted feel. I print 90% infill so there is room for the extrusion. You can see a tiny gap & that's good! 100% infill risks jamming!!!
