Last week the students didTurkey Throws activity over the Turkey wall & then we did our Turkey Day Parade Relays. Everyone was really excited to make their balloon turkeys & parade them to collect feathers.

Timothy Miller and I are playing Lucky Roll, courtesy of Coach Pirillo’s money games! We’ve added in a cup & ball for some hand/eye coordination while they wait for their partner!

“Meteor Shower” from Ophea One a Day for Active Play resource! Can be played 1 v 1, 2 v 2, or 3 v 3. Here, teams are allowed one bounce before the catch. Great lead up to Spikeball™ Inc

It’s mini golf time! ⛳️
.
This is our 2nd year doing our mini golf and still the best part is seeing the students’ reactions when they walk into the gym! 💙💛

⭕️ Pyramid Throw⭕️ Great station for students to compete (or just complete) overhand throwing through the hoops. They place a cube on the paper on top of the hoop they threw it through.

First grade being rockstars playing Hockey Croquet!

Set up “gates” (2 cones) around the gym.
Students go for 2-3 minutes around the gym to get their ball thru as many gates as they can.

-Can’t go thru same gate back to back
-Gates are a two way street

Great dribbling game! 🏀
3rd grade version. Can add defense for more advanced classes. Playing short rounds with a different counter for each team gives students a leadership opportunity. games activities

Hockey Hungry Hippos:

Groups of 2 at a poly spot.
1 partner dribbles to the middle circle filled with “food” and grabs 1 piece to take back to their spot.

Code Breaker Basketball was a HUGE hit! I love the pattern recognition, color matching and sequencing in addition to dribbling skills! This activity can also be used for soccer skills or agility/cardio 👏🏼
