Before sleepy time I look over my day and make sure I got everything important done.
Did I try hard when I was working? Did I take time to play? Did I only speak kindly of others? Did I eat well? Did I try to fix my mistakes so they didn't?
I did. It was a good day.

Humans seem to snap at one other if someone says something they disagree with or they feel offended. They even mock each other's misfortunes.
I get barked at lots but unless there's an actual threat I don't bark back & never snap. I wonder if humans can be taught this

Few things feel as good as that moment after you've just had a good roll in the grass, and lay there for a second thinking, 'I really am the goodest boy'. Then you take a deep breath, let out a snort and pounce back onto all 4 paws, ready to meet the next adventure.

I got to go to the butcher shop today!!!! I was pretty excited. But my friend, the butcher who smells like heaven, wasn't there. This made me sad and I used this to my advantage and now we have garlic sausage to chop into little treat bites.

I am learning new things.
I spent time working on something I struggle with.
I napped, played, ate & I had hugs.
I made mistakes but I tried to fix them right away. I was kind.
I am content.
I do this every day. Every day is good.
