I can't recommend 'Honesty' (Lunaria) enough; in a pot with just three plants I've had it used by different bees, Orange tips, a Holly blue, and now Damselfly. Nature is truly amazing.

A beautiful damselfly πŸ’™πŸ’šπŸ’™..these fascinating insects have compound eyes..so an almost 360 degree vision, crucial for detecting predators and prey..but they do require regular cleaning!

Stunning reel from Biome.Media πŸ’š

Here are some images from the other day for you. It was cold but some insects were around - here are a few: 1st is a male Large Red Damselfly resting on a Bramble Leaf.
Enjoy!

Great to hear a Nightingale back at Fen Drayton RSPB this evening, just north of the car park. With 2 Bittern, Cuckoos, Turtle Dove, Willow Warblers, many Garden Warblers, Hairy Dragonfly and 50+ Variable Damselfly it's great to have it an easy bike ride away down the busway
