We were thrilled with our latest Siskin Control!
Jack Baddams’ recent bird at Creswell Crags 🦣 was ringed in Västerbotten province, Sweden (1760km) in July ‘20.
Our previous longest Siskin movement (1732km) was ringed in ‘03 in Dronfield & plucked from a cage near Lisbon in ‘04!
Reflecting on a Decade of Ice Age Europe: Time for Reinvention! We gathered at Creswell Crags 🦣 to envision the future of our network. We left with ambitious plans and a delightful treat: a visit to the remarkable caves at Creswell Crags, marvelling at Britains renowned Rock Art!
Ringed ten of these delightful little finches this morning in Whitwell village, Derbyshire, before the wind picked up.
One bird was already ringed (in Feb), a local movement from Creswell Crags 🦣 (3km) Jack Baddams #Siskin

We had the best day at Creswell Crags 🦣 😍
The children loved every minute and I was so impressed by their subject knowledge and vocabulary. Everyone commented on how polite and kind our children were. They were a credit to Y3 and to Pear Tree 💙💚💛
