One of the four main characters in Suikoden 3 is Black, ya know the game franchise Eiyuden Chronicle is trying to homage.

The latest localization controversy comes from the game Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, created by the recently deceased Yoshitaka Murayama (creator of Suikoden).
Why do they have to put their ‘chronically-online gringo lingo’ into the dialogue of a Japanese game? Disgusting.

If anybody who has played the Suikoden series knows the cast of characters are diverse AF. Even got animal people which is wild that this is even a thing lol. Just seeing a black character is where they draw the line like make it make sense 🤣😂
