As Chair of the Cross Party Group on Learning Disability I was glad to speak at the #StolenLives protest today. We must see an end to breaching the human rights of people with a learning disability or autism by wrongly placing them in hospitals and units #HomesNotHospitals
Yesterday afternoon, a protest named #HomesNotHospitals was held by #StolenLives on the steps of Welsh Parliament in Cardiff Bay.
#StolenLives are campaigning for the release of people with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism trapped in Mental Health Hospitals and Units.
Drive we’re outside the Senedd today supporting the Stolen Lives: ‘Homes not Hospitals’ protest for adults with a learning disability. Proud to be part of this essential campaign.
