Today is #SocialEnterpriseDay , a time to celebrate the wonderful difference social enterprises make. Across our gyms, leisure centres, pools, libraries and children’s centres, we’re proud to work collaboratively to improve the health and wellbeing of our communities.

Social Enterprise Day is about recognising firms who make people's lives better. The North of Tyne Combined Authority is putting £4m into a new project to help finance those companies to grow and make the world a better place.
