There’s an understandable hesitation about universals.

But are there any downsides to #Sentientism ’s “evidence, reason and compassion for all sentient beings” as a universal epistemology and a universal scope of moral consideration?

Although the logo is ridiculous - AIs are housed in computers, and aliens will look nothing like greys (which are 'interdimensional') - this is my position. Writing on #sentientism at the moment in my book on AI, where I also tie this in with #panpsychism
