The solution to is as follows
1) Reinstate 🤔
2) Administer ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine to dampen the perverted, unnatural urges 😩
3) Raise the age of ‘consent’ to 21 🥱
4) Restore a wholesone family centred society of husband, wife and children 👍

On this day 33 years ago was introduced by Margaret Thatcher banning the ‘promotion of homosexuality’ by local authorities and schools. These cruel laws fuelled bullying and blocked intervention. They weren’t repealed until 2003 after affecting countless LGBTQ+ lives.

Just 20 years ago, after tireless struggle, Section 28 was defeated.

But now we have another generation of LGBT+ youth growing up in a climate of dangerous hostility.

We must not give an inch to anti-trans bigotry. Like our movement won then, we will win again.

Wow, well there it is. The new section 28 which forbids the promotion of “homosexuality”. Back to the love that dare not speak its name for GLAAD.

Well, at least we have no doubt as to where they stand

2000. Labour's first attempt to scrap Section 28 is defeated in the House of Lords.

Blair claims the law is a 'piece of prejudice'

The journalist Boris Johnson says children shouldn't be 'taught some rubbish about homosexual marriage being the same as normal marriage.'

This is not Section 28. It's worse. Section 28 didn't mandate that parents be informed if a 16 year old said they were gay. It didn't say that straight students' well-being had to be considered in a school's decision to 'allow' students to be LGB. It didn't outlaw my trousers

FUN FACT: Labour is being advised by Iain Anderson.

Iain is a career Tory who ended up as Chair of Stonewall.

His career highlight was advising Ken Clarke on his leadership campaign.

In which he promised not to abolish Section 28.

Section 28 was horrendous the first time around. I remember, I was a queer kid back then.

It will be horrendous this time round in its repackaged anti-trans 2023 form.

Arguably even worse.

But we will fight it.
Just like we did before.
It will not last.

Remember section 28 was only removed in 2003. Us older LGBTQIA+ had no education about ourselves, no representation. Teachers & authorities were banned from talking & educating us about it. This led to bullying and an idea that it was 'wrong' to exist as we are. Our true selves.
