Tinkering around with some data... the highest King Tides in the area are currently ~1.5' above MHHW (mean high tide). We can expect an additional 1' of SLR ~2050, 2' ~2070, and 3' ~2080. What do those look like on the campus where I work on Virginia Key?

What does look like?
The water level in the area has already spent more time above the mean high tide level this year than it did during ALL of 1998 (and soon 1997).
The average rate of SLR here over the past 3 decades is ~0.26 '/yr.
