I had a great time yesterday presenting my work at the AAAI workshop on Ad Hoc Teamwork (AHT). I shared my proposal for 'Cooperative Language Acquisition Problems' (CLAPs) - a novel AHT domain focused on learning the communication protocol of a target community.

Running our AAAI symposium 'Bidirectionality in Human-AI Collaborative Systems' at Stanford. We have 19 invited talks over a 2.5-day program: sites.google.com/view/bidirecti…. Lots on human-centeredness in NLP -- great to see #NLP and #HCI interweaving more and more with each other!

Beyond appearance: our awesome ASU School of Computing and Augmented Intelligence PhDs and faculties flying back from AAAI and coincidentally taking the same flight (btw, there is only one direct flight between Phoenix and Vancouver). 🤠
