Dancing for itself in a clearing at the jungle's edge: Indian Peafowl (Pavo cristatus) male. Got shy even though I was at least hundred and fifty feet away; and eased gracefully into the woodland.

After a few days of break after my marathon A-Z series ( I hope you think I deserved it) am starting back up with some common Indian birds. First the National Bird of the country, the Indian or Blue Peafowl, an unquestionable eye-catcher, head-turner and a prima donna. IndiAves

🌟green's art🌟 Heres a little peafowl chick that evolves into either a peacock waterfall, or a peahen mudslide. They evolve via both gender and specific stones.
Not proud of the male, but that can be redesigned.

As seen on my walk!! - The sun was setting and a dance was in progress. Nothing better to do, I watched it for a while. Felt pleasant, rode back home and concluded the day with a sundowner.

Very sad news. Top of the hill on Carnegie cres. A beautiful peahen. We hope she is not one of the mums we have seen with chicks as they won’t survive long without her. So sad. Near the road sign alerting drivers to the presence of peafowl. Drivers, SLOW DOWN! Image by Nathan.

'A gift.' Placed to her hands are pendulums that resemble feathers of a peafowl. 'From your late mother.' Nidhana speaks slow and soft. Sila's cheeks feel wet.

She may be a dancer main, but these.. have more meaning.
