Glad to see PacBio HiFi sequencing helping out.

I wonder whether the lesser usage of PacBio Revio than expected is due to people being unaware of it... For genome assembly Pacbio seems a gold standard now; but for pop gene, short reads still dominate. Perhaps bioinfo pipeline is an issue?

Keith Robison Nanopore is quickly catching up on accuracy, the key selling point of HiFi. If PacBio doesn't have something big in house, it may have much more troubles next year.
