Yet thousands of crores being spent on the metro while all Pune needs is 16500 buses to fix the traffic jams.

No first class Bus with WiFi, AC, Charging points, comfortable

Crack down on rickshaws that won't ply by meter? NO. Crack down on PMPML busses that won't stop at bus stops? NO. Crackdown on encroachments of footpath for pedestrians? NO. But all out after cabs? Looks like adminstration is all out pushing people to buy personal vehicles!

Currently Olectra Greentech has an Orderbook of around 10,000+ E-Buses from Maharashtra.

PMPML - 350

Sadly, all these are being manufactured in Telangana. Maha Govt should've negotiated the terms and persuaded Olectra to set up their 2nd Plant in MH.

A PMPML CNG bus caught fire this afternoon at the main gate of Bharati Vidyapeeth in Katraj. Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries in the incident. Firefighters successfully extinguished the blaze.
