Recent images of people and animals around the West Island trees at #OntarioPlace , which will be cut down and replaced with Ontario Place for Everyone’s paid admission room to watch other trees on video.
Thousands of birds migrate to #OntarioPlace yearly to breed.
They nest under structures, like the pods over water.
Netting that has been put up stops these birds from nesting, jeopardizing their breeding habitats and population.
On #WorldMigratoryBirdDay , protect our wildlife.
While we were out, Ontario Place for Everyone posted a promo video about an “immersive wellness experience allowing you to connect with nature” via videos of trees.
At #OntarioPlace , 800+ trees on public waterfront will be cut down to be replaced by this indoor paid experience.
Stop paying for maintenance.
Bemoan its state of disrepair.
Slash, burn, downsize, privatize.
