Today is a big day for language minority communities across the country. Bill C-13 has received royal assent and is now law!

Big congratulations to my friend Ginette Petitpas Taylor for your advocacy, it has been an honour to work on this bill alongside you and defend #OfficialLanguages .

It has been almost a month since Bill C-13 became law, a historic milestone for #OLMC across Canada.

Our success was largely because of the advocacy work of Francophone leaders like AJEFO. Together, we will continue to defend #OfficialLanguages and our Francophonie!

The new funding portion from the current #ActionPlanOL runs until March 31, 2028, and aims to enhance support for communities and foster equality between English and French across Canada.
