On the hillside today - a Silver Birch going the full circle.....
In Kew Gardens it would draw the crowds - here just a few disinterested sheep.

Ian Denton Brigit Strawbridge NearbyWild #RewildTheEarth Dorset Trees, Woods & Hedges Network Believe this is the same one. It's growing over a watercourse so that may have a bearing. However, it does look like there was a break early on in its life, it partly fell down and then continued growing up towards the light. Can be very windswept up here. My favourite tree.
