Dueling Dinosaurs exhibit opening TODAY at North Carolina Museum NC Museum of Natural Sciences in Raleigh. The much anticipated #DuelingDinosaurs consists of the fossilized skeletons of an adolescent Tyrannosaurus rex and a Triceratops entangled with one another entombed in sandstone.

I'm super intrigued by Dueling Dinosaurs, which opened yesterday at NC Museum of Natural Sciences. There's a traditional (very tech forward, by the look of it) exhibit portion, plus a completely open prep lab where visitors can talk to preparators.

On May 13th, a young and skinny minke whale beached in Ostend. The autopsy confirmed that the animal died of starvation after probably becoming separated from his mother.
