Meaningful Youth Participation is about ensuring that young people have the opportunity to be involved in processes of decision-making on policies, strategies & programs that affect them. Together with CHOICE for Youth & Sexuality & stakeholders in Kuria as we launch the roadmap for MIYP .

#Connectorweek in Kenya organized by Choice for Youth. A platform for learning best practices and experiences between the Power to You(th) Global and Right Here Right Now 2 project in regard to #MIYP , #advocacy , youth led monitoring and innovation.

We are in Isingiro district where we are conducting trainings on Gender Transformative Approach(GTA) and Meaningful and Inclusive Youth Participation (MIYP) for our partner CBOs and CSOs.

We continue with refresher trainings of CSOs and CBOs in Gender Transformative Approach and Meaningful and Inclusive Youth Participation in our implementation districts.

The training will help them integrate GTA and MIYP in their programmes to better serve their communities.

We were privileged to host Kenya Red Cross Youth Secretary and a Youth advocate on SRHR NJIRIRI EMILY and had an interactive session on MIYP
We interacted on:
Assessing readiness for inclusive youth participation,
Conducting a comprehensive context analysis.

I had an opportunity to attend a two day meeting on Gender Transformative Approach(GTA)and Meaningful and Inquisitive Youth Participation(MIYP) which was organised by Reproductive Health Uganda and UYAHF under PowerToYouthUg

Young people speak! The theme of the day was :Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World. Its important for us to contribute towards building a sustainable world that the young people of the future can enjoy. Greenskills, MIYP and SRHR . A wonderful intersection 🤝🏾.

The mainstreaming of youth voices is important for the MEA strategy to be meaningfully implemented . In this session, #MenEngageAfricaAGM is reflecting on the Meaningful Inclusive Youth Participation-MIYP journey and how it serves as an added value to advancing gender justice.
