Following the preparatory work, the 100-tonne crane required to carry out the repair scheme on the #A59 at #KexGill has now been installed on-site and is being used to drive long sheets of steel into the ground.

Once this has been completed, we will fill in the excavated area

🚧 The A59 at #KexGill will close at 6:30pm today following further movement.

A signed diversion will be in place during the closure and we will carry out a repair as soon as possible.

We're installing 2 way traffic lights on the #A59 at #KexGill due to a void which has emerged next to the road.

The void is currently being investigated and we will carry out repairs as soon as possible.

The Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All Rob Burrow Marathon will pass the #KexGill diversion route tomorrow.

As a result, road users are asked to take the A65 from Burley to Leeds City Centre, the A58(M) and A61 to Pannal between 8.30am to 2.30pm.

The reverse route should be used going west.
