Those calling for the National Guard to be sent onto college campuses are well aware of the Kent State Massacre where 4 student anti-war protesters were shot and killed. I believe they are making this demand, not in spite of this history, but because of it.

This is an email sent out before Kyle Rittenhouse gives his speech at Kent State. Turns out Republicans hate gun free zones unless it’s to protect them. What fucking hypocrisy.

I just want to remind people that when I was 17 years old, the National Guard shot and killed 4 protesting white students and wounded 9 others at Kent State, and the majority of white Americans blamed the students.
