কথাটা ছিলো 'গঙ্গাল,' পশ্চিম ভারতীয় উচ্চারণে সেটা অপভ্রংশ হয়ে হলো 'বঙ্গাল।' তারপর থেকে বাঙ্গালিরা 'বাঙ্গালা' শব্দটাই ব্যাবহার করে এসেছে থেকে লেখালিখির ক্ষেত্রে। বিদ্যাসাগর মহাশয়ের বিখ্যাত বই 'বাঙ্গালার ইতিহাস'- এ তিনি কিন্তু 'বাঙ্গালার' শব্দটি লিখেছেন 'বাংলার' নয়।

2010 এর পরের সমস্ত ওবিসি সার্টিফিকেট কি বাতিল হয়ে গেছে? উত্তর হলো না, অন্তত মাননীয় হাইকোর্ট তাই বলেছেন।মামলাকারিদের দ্বারা শুধুমাত্র 2010 এর পরে যে সমস্ত জাতি ওবিসি তালিকায় অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়েছে সেগুলিকেই চ্যালেঞ্জ করা হয়েছিলো তার আগের গুলোকে নয়। ।

Quite disappointed after reading the biographical work by Prasun Roy on Rash Behari Bose. The fundamental problem of this book is the narrative style adopted by the author. It reads like a historical novel rather than a biography.
