This was from the last time I saw Izzy Young, in 2018, one year before he passed away. I knew Izzy since 2004 and he even spent New Year's at my place once, came to a some of my gigs and I performed at the Folklore Center a few times. He was an original and is missed!

(1928–2019) died on 4 February in Stockholm. His Folklore Center in Greenwich Village became a seeding ground for the NY folk scene (and inspiration for Dylan's 'Talking Folklore Center'). He replicated that with his Folklore Centrum in Stockholm.

I read some of the poems in Words on the Table at Izzy Young's Folklore Centre in Stockholm in October 2004. Not quite Dylan in New York in 1962!
I also sang a version of Bob's talking blues...
