When I visited HMCS MONTREAL this morning, I was fortunate to meet this sister / brother team. Meet S1 Cleveland,NESOP, and S3 Cleveland, SONAR OP. These siblings and the entire MON team are busy getting their ship ready for their upcoming OP HORIZON deployment.

Tonight was an important stop on HMCS MONTREAL’S road to deployment with the brief to families. What supports are available through the MFRC, benefits and allowances, the all important mail/care package process. Lots of great info for families and friends of the crew.

The cadet program creates experiences youth cannot get anywhere else! Excited that HMCS Montreal of the Royal Canadian Navy has embarked two cadets from Newfoundland and PEI, and a CIC Officer for the next 5 days. Cadets: Thanks MARLANT for making this happen!

Family and friends gathered this morning at HMCS NCSM Scotian to say goodbye to the sailors, soldiers, and aviators deploying in HMCS Montréal / NCSM Montréal as they prepare to depart on OP HORIZON.

Canadian Frigate HMCS Montreal is now on the other side of the Suez Canal and is now operating in the Red Sea after transiting the Suez earlier today. She is currently operating on Operation Horizon in the Indo Pacific Region.
