A staggering 510kg of illegal narcotics were intercepted by #HMCSMargaretBrooke 🍀on February 4th in the Caribbean.
This collaborative effort with international Allies and partners showcases our unwavering commitment to securing international waters and our communities back home.
Following the successful interception of narcotics on #OpCARIBBE , the crew of #HMCSMargaretBrooke used the 25 millimetre Mk 38 machine gun system to sink the smuggling vessel.
This avoids leaving a navigational hazard to other mariners in international waters.
