Last #Friday was a busy one CorpusChristi School ! Gr.6s walked the community. Gr.5s went on a FT, the ORm had #dinosaurday with Mrs.P & Dr.O’Neil did #robitics . Oh and Gr.1s we’re Fort Calgary Historic Site with the Gr.2s had #pirateandboatday ! Phew 😮‍💨 Xena Biffert would be proud 😅.

Today's Stampede adventure took place at the rodeo with Sheila Taylor, CEO of Parks Fdn Calgary, Jennifer Thompson CEO of Fort Calgary Historic Site, Jeff Chase, Director of Partnerships at City of Calgary, and Josh Traptow, Executive Director of Heritage Calgary and our host extraordinaire.

Fort Calgary has officially changed its name to The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland.

Today we learned about Calgary’s past. We built a cabin, visited one of Calgary’s oldest buildings, were visited by a coyote, and learned Indigenous games. Thank you Fort Calgary Historic Site!
