Our project in Ghana is supporting farmers to adopt good agricultural practices, including composting to improve soil fertility for increased crop yields. Organic manure production also helps the farmers to reduce the need of expensive chemical fertilizers. Sumaila Seidu Saaka

We don’t plant trees… We regrow trees by supporting new, naturally occurring sprouts to grow to big trees using the Kisiki Hai restoration technique (which has a way higher chance of survival!) with Justdiggit🌳

A thermal image from our regreening program with Justdiggit clearly shows the temperature difference between the tree and surrounding area. Trees provide a cooling effect to our environments. Using technique, we have regenerated more than 18 million trees in the Tanzania.
