An amended Operational Plan with Greece was signed today w/ 🇬🇷 Minister Dimitris Kairidis - Δημήτρης Καιρίδης, in the margins of Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU 2024 Ministerial Conference on the implementation of the Pact.
The plan addresses evolving needs 🇬🇷, specifically prioritising vulnerable & registering new applicants.
Earlier, 27 🇪🇺+ national authorities & EUAA had a strategic discussion on common challenges & emerging trends in asylum & reception at the Meeting for Senior Officials of Reception Authorities.

The EUAA values its partnership w/ OECD ➡️ Better Policies for Better Lives, particularly in supporting Surveys of Asylum-related Migrants 🇺🇦, aiding in EUAA practical recommendations & situational awareness for 🇪🇺 MS.
Today, I met w/ OECD's Mr Dumont & Scarpetta to discuss ways to strengthen this cooperation.
Almost 5 000 unaccompanied minors have been rescued from the streets or from unsuitable living conditions in 🇬🇷 and have found a safe place to stay, thanks to the National Emergency Response Mechanism (NERM).
