The MD that Dopesick was based on, Lloyd, was on a podcast yesterday. He works in addx tx, & he confessed he believes the govt is going to kill its way out of the OD epidemic. That’s dark. Funny how oblivious he is to the fact he had a huge part in the hysteria that spurred this.

Last year, after seeing the Sackler name still carved at the RA, within a month I'd read Empire of Pain, watched Nan Goldin's incredible documentary, plus Dopesick and Painkiller.
Maybe it was in readiness for Kingsolver's Demon Copperhead - I think it's going to break my heart.

'Dopesick' is an interesting read, even though it focuses on the U.S. studies , but its narrative carries universal relevance.

Finally watching Dopesick & I really hate Richard Sackler & his disgusting family. Greed & indifference to life is who these people are.

Guarantee they’re Republicans. We are just canon fodder for those kind of rich scum. They should have gone to prison & lost all their money!
