Dr. Nelson Jonas, Tanzania Health Promotion Support TB/HIV Technical Advisor for the CDC/PEPFAR-funded THPS Afya Hatua Project presented a poster on COVID-19 vaccination for PLWHA at #CROI2024 . THPS has supported vaccination of 99% of recipients in Kigoma, Pwani, and Shinyanga regions.

And still I hear providers saying that patient does not meet criteria for HIV PrEP even when patient ask for it. This must evolve and we should make it accessible, easy to get and cost FREE for everyone. #CROI2024
