We are now 30 Blue Parks protecting 3.5M sq km!!💥Our #BlueParks celebrates ocean protection around the world to ensure a brighter blue future, and this week we celebrate that we now protect 1% of the worlds ocean. Help us to spread the word - Together we can make a difference!💙

Yesterday, we embarked on the installation of mooring bouys within this marine park. Bouys are important tools in marking anchoring points for boats to ensure that coral reefs are safe from damage and whose habitat supports diverse marine life.

Our last winner for 2023. 🏆 Cordillera de Coiba Managed Resources Area (CCMRA), overseen by @miambientepma in collaboration with NGOs and academic institutions, is situated in the southwest part of Panama, covering a vast area of over 67,900 km².
